Go Lala Go!
Based on the book named “A Story of Lala’s Promotion”, written by Li Ke, the movie is one to be remembered. Du Lala, a typical represent of the middle class, played by Xu Jinlei, don’t have a good background, better education when starting to find a job after graduation, but she gets success finally through her own efforts. At the beginning of the Lala’s career, after getting permission of the interview of DB inc., a company of the global 500, she is employed as a receptionist with luck. At that moment, she sets a goal to get promotion as soon as possible. Wang wei, one of the sales directors of DB inc., played by Huang Lixing, meets Du Lala during a elevator accident, falling love with Lala after breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, Rose, an assistant executive manager in DB inc.. After getting together, Du Lala and Wang wei are busy with their career. When getting the promotion to be a CHO (Chief human resources Officer) with her personal struggle, Du lala is told that Wang wei maybe will be fired, for two different part of company will be combined and they only need one sales director. Standing on a dilemma status, Dulala decides not to tell Wang wei, her boyfriend, what will happen soon. However, Roes, Wang wei’s ex-friend, tells the truth to Wang wei and says she will resign so that Wang wei can be the only director in DB inc.. Feeling disappointed for Du lala’s cheating, Wang wei chooses to resign and immigrants to Thailand. Having achieved her goal, Du lala does not feel satisfied and she asks for leave to travel Thailand. Meeting each other again in Thailand, Du lala and Wang wei gets together again at last.
